GOOD TO KNOW

  • The ferry crossing is part of the experience — bring your camera for the skyline views.
  • The Asian side is more relaxed and local; there are no big monuments here, just real Istanbul life.
  • Comfortable shoes recommended for the market and seaside walk.
  • Bring a little Turkish lira for tastings, tea and the ferry.
  • Getting around: we travel by public transport — the Bosphorus ferry, plus tram or bus as needed — unless you request a private vehicle. Fares are small and your guide helps you pay.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable walking shoes · a camera for the ferry views · some local currency for tastings and the ferry · a light jacket (it can be breezy by the water).
